Wrist Stretches

Wrist Extension stretch

Hold: 20 seconds

Reps: 5 times

Movement

Begin in a standing position with one arm in front of your body, palm facing the ceiling.
With your other hand, apply a gentle downward pressure on your fingers, bending your wrist and keeping your elbow straight.

Wrist Flexion Stretch

Hold: 20 seconds

Reps: 5 times

Movement

Begin in an upright position with one arm in front of your body, palm facing the floor.
With your other hand, bend your wrist downward until you feel a stretch.

Web Space Stretch

Hold: 1-2 minutes | Reps: 1-2 times

Movement

Find a tender, or tight, spot in the webspace of your hand. Then place a refrigerator clip onto this spot.
Tip
You may find the clip to be uncomfortable at first. Wear for the instructed amount of time or until the muscle relaxes.

Tendon Glides

Hold: 20 seconds

Reps: 5 times

Movement

Slowly bend the top two knuckles of your fingers toward your palm. Hold briefly, then return to the starting position and repeat.
